BEACHES
Zogeria
With pine trees that stretch down to the beach and azure waters, some consider it the most beautiful beach on the island.
Weather permitting, you can enjoy a breathtaking view all the way to Nafplio! In the small bay, there is a restaurant. Nice little beaches, more secluded, exist in the big bay of Zogeria.
Aghia Paraskevi
A pebbled beach is situated on the west part of the island.
It took its name from the nearby chapel of Ayia Paraskevi. There are
sunbeds and a beach-bar offering refreshments and snacks.
Aghioi Anargyroi
One of the largest beaches on the southwest of the island with clean and deep waters.
Here lies one of the most beautiful natural attractions of Spetses, the cave Bekiris. Inside the cave, there is a small sandy beach and stalagmites that compose a setting of unique beauty. Beach is organized, you will find sunbeds, a restaurant, and water sports facilities.
Xylokériza
A secluded, big pebbly beach with a rocky bottom, on the southeastern part of the island.
It offers wild beauty and isolation for total relaxation. There are sunbeds and a bar offering refreshments and snacks.
Kouzounos
With crystal waters and fine, colored pebbles, it is one of the quietest and most natural beaches of Spetses, on the southeast side, across the islet Spetsopoula.
The beach is not organized and therefore the visitor should be provided with everything necessary before going.
Aghia Marina
One of the most famous beaches on the island! Well organized with beach bars and restaurants.
Water sports facilities are available too.
Aghios Mamas
This long and picturesque beach is mostly pebbled, and has shallow green waters. Alongside there are several sea taverns, cafes.
Along with the smaller beach of Aghios Nikolaos next to it, it gets quite crowded during the summer months by locals and those who prefer to swim without leaving the town. Plus on the beach, there is also a bathing ramp for disabled people.
Kounoupitsa
The beach at Kounoupitsa, to the left of the harbor, running along the coastal road is essentially a succession of small beaches with either pebble or sand.
It also features many cafes and restaurants on the promenade, which serve fresh fish and the local recipes that deserve to taste like the famous “fish a la Spetsiota”.
Kaiki Beach (Scholes)
This is one of the most popular beaches close to the town of Spetses. Kaiki is also known as the College beach because it is located right in front of the Anargyrios College, presently hosting the island's High School as well as many international conventions mostly in the summer months. With clean, blue waters and parasols made of palm trees, Kaiki is easily accessible and well organizes. It features a Beach Bar and a restaurant. Note that water ski and windsurfing lessons are also available.
Ligoneri
One of the island’s most peaceful beaches is located at the margin of the town of Spetses, west of the Dapia harbor. It is fringed by pine trees and has colored pebbles and clear, azure waters. The beach is not organized and therefore the visitor should be provided with everything necessary before going.
Vréllos
A beautiful pebbled beach on the west part of the island.
Surrounded by a dense pine forest. The beach has a well-organized Beach Bar offering refreshments, cocktails, and snacks. There are sunbeds and parasols available. Also, there are a beach volley court and a Racquet-playing space.
